But Rahu does not like this and starts poisoning the minds of the Rakshas against the Gods. By this time, Lord Indra the King of heaven gains strength from the Yagnas and kills Bali. Thereafter Shukracharya with his special power brings Bali back to life. Not to be defeated again by the heavenly Gods, Shukracharya advises Bali to perform on hundred 'Ashwamedha Yagnas'. This creates fear in Lord Indra's mind and he starts thinking that after the completion of on hundred Ashwamedha Yagnas, Bali will be the most powerful. He goes to Lord Shiva asking him to stop Bali. Lord Shiva advises him to pray to Lord Vishnu. Lord Indra's mother Aditi prays at the Amrit Teerth on the bank of Ksheersagar.
