GRIHAPATI AVTAAR OF LORD SHIVA ~ Grihapati Incarnation of Lord Shiva Sage Vishwanar goes to Kashi to pray Lord Shiva, so that he becomes father of a son like him. Shiva appears in the form of a child and promises to take birth as his son. Son 'Grihapati' takes birth, but with a curse of a life of twelve years only. To free his parents from this worry, Grihapati undertakes a penance. Lord Shiva tests his firmness and makes him Lord of all fires.
