Mangu puts obstacles to their meeting, but the elders of village allow them to marry according to tribal rites. They marry with pomp and splendor and the couple go to Lord Subrahmaniam for blessings. But Lord Subrahmaniam was none other than Kartikeya, the son of Lord Shiva who had come to South to educate the tribals. Kartikeya is shocked to see his parents in tribal garbs.
